An early modernist table lamp. In brass and black painted wood. Produced in Sweden, late 1940s.
Other designers of the period include Paavo Tynell, Lisa Johansson-Pape, Carl-Axel Acking, and Gunnar Asplund.
Wear consistent with age and use. All original, with original patina to wood and brass. Very light warping to screen, lightly malleable and can be carefully adjusted upon installation of screen. Very small dent to screen / Small crack to small ring fixating rod to base (illustrated).
