An early daybed designed by Poul Kjaerholm in 1957. Produced by E Kold Christensen, 1960s. Produced in leather, stainless steel, painted plywood, and rubber. Frame impressed with the manufacturer’s mark.

The PK80 daybed is perhaps one of Kjaerholm's most iconic designs. The form is inspired by the Bauhaus movement. Examples of this daybed have been used for the galleries of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Condition: Good
Wear consistent with age and use. Very lively patina and crackelature of leather coating, as illustrated in images. Light wear to metal base and painted plywood, including small marks and discoloration.
