José Zanine Caldas, Lounge Chair, Wood, Velvet, Brazil, 1950s

A wood and red velvet fabric lounge chair designed José Zanine Caldas by and produced by Móveis Artísticos Z, Brazil, 1950s.

Provenance: Cristiano Ross, Curitiba.

In vintage condition, with visible wear consistent with age and use. Light surface scratches to structure. Light scuffs and abrasions to structure. Age-appropriate patina retained to the wood. Reupholstered at some point in recent history, fabric with staining and crease marks, to benefit from reupholstery.

Patina and wear such as but not limited to marks, scratches, fading, and discoloration may present more or less prominently to the naked eye, and can read differently under the lighting conditions on site. We usually leave our works in original condition and can make touch-ups or restoration to a customer's preference. Customers with a preference for a high level of restoration are encouraged to request additional images to confirm the piece meets expectations. Sold as-is. Please review all photographs, which form part of the condition description.
