Walter Loos Attribution, Lounge Chair, Iron, Wood, Leather, Argentina, 1950s

A black-lacquered iron, wood and brown leather lounge chair attributed to Walter Loos, Argentina, c. 1950s.

Provenance: Private collection, Buenos Aires.

In vintage condition, with visible wear consistent with age and use. Light sun-fading to structure. Light oxidation and tarnish to the metal. Reupholstered at some point in fairly recent history. Slanting seat shape paired with leather makes seat position slippery, would therefore benefit from reupholstery in fabric for reasons of seat comfort.

Patina and wear such as but not limited to marks, scratches, fading, and discoloration may present more or less prominently to the naked eye, and can read differently under the lighting conditions on site. We usually leave our works in original condition and can make touch-ups or restoration to a customer's preference. Customers with a preference for a high level of restoration are encouraged to request additional images to confirm the piece meets expectations. Sold as-is. Please review all photographs, which form part of the condition description.
