An orange glazed vase designed by Gunnar Nylund (Swedish, 1914-1997) and produced by Rörstrand, Sweden, 1940s.
Nylund served as artistic director at Rörstrand, where he worked 1931-1955. Prior to his work at Rörstrand he was a well-established ceramic artist in Denmark at Bing & Grøndahl, and later founded ceramic workshop Saxbo, in partnership with Nathalie Krebs.
