Hans Bergström Attribution,, Floor Lamp, Brass, Wood, Rattan, Sweden, 1940s

An adjustable three-armed functionalist floor lamp. Design is attributed to Hans Bergström, for similar example compare the base and rod to examples designed by Bergström for Atelje Lyktan. Base features dark stained wood, possibly wenge.

Other designers of the period include Josef Frank, Paavo Tynell, Hans Agne Jacobsen, and Alvar Aalto.

Condition: Good
Wear consistent with age and use. In good original condition. Brand new replaced screens in white linen. Appealing patina to brass. One screens adjustable position jammed. Plugged for Swedish outlet. Inlays possibly with later paint. Please review electric wiring upon purchase.
