A rare and early table or desk lamp. Designed by Paavo Tynell in and produced by his own firm, Taito Oy. Impressed "Taito" on underside. In steel and lacquered metal.
Other designers of the period include Lisa Johansson-Pape, Alvar Aalto, Angelo Lelii, Karre Klint, and Hans-Agne Jakobsson.
Condition: Good Refinished. Wear consistent with age and use. Lively patina and wear to steel. Black parts are professionally re-lacquered at some point in time. Light warping to screen.
